Digital Public Infrastructure
JamiiStack
Tanzania’s open, interoperable digital public infrastructure — connecting identity, payments, data exchange and citizen services for inclusive digital transformation.
What is JamiiStack?
JamiiStack is Tanzania’s open Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) ecosystem — a shared foundation of interoperable building blocks that help government, businesses and citizens exchange information securely and deliver trusted digital services. Rooted in the values of Ujamaa and Ubuntu, it reduces duplicated systems, strengthens collaboration and powers the national Digital Economy Framework.

Jamii Malipo / Jamii Pay
Harmonised payments for government fees and digital economy use cases, with mobile-money-first integration and faster settlement.
Jamii X-Change
The sovereign interoperability layer connecting public and private systems for consented, real-time data exchange and service delivery.
Jamii Portal
A unified digital window for citizen services — discover, apply, track and complete transactions across channels.
Jamii Pocket
A verifiable digital locker for paperless credentials and privacy-first document storage that citizens control.
Jamii Sandbox & AI
Safe spaces for innovators to test APIs and for responsible AI solutions that serve national development priorities.
