Mr. Mussa Patrick Chiwelenje is the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Safety and Security Unit at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. He has over 10 years of experience in the ICT sector.

Before this position, Mr. Chiwelenje served as the Secretary to the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology; a Parliamentary Officer for the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology in the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania; and an ICT Officer in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.

Academically, Mr. Chiwelenje obtained a Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China.

Additionally, Mr. Chiwelenje has undergone cybersecurity training from various institutions, including Infotronix Technologies (India), Unique Academy (Tanzania), and CYBERGEN (Tanzania).
